Heritage hotel is an object where guests are provided with accommodation and breakfast, and is located in old, traditional, historical, rural-urban structures and buildings and is decorated and equipped in a traditional way. The heritage hotel represents a very functional whole that contains parts of the building, each of which has a separate entrance, and must contain at least a reception hall with a reception, accommodation units and shared sanitary facilities, etc. Since the Republic of Croatia really values tradition and old customs, heritage hotels they are widely spread in this area. Heritage hotels are important precisely because they have a more diverse tourist offer, because they offer tourists a new type of accommodation, preserve cultural and historical heritage by offering specific traditional dishes, which contribute to the overall experience of tourists. Heritage hotels meet all these requirements, which is why their number is constantly increasing. This claim is best proven by the fact that it is. in 2010 there were 30, and four years later 55 heritage hotels, and it is to be expected that there will be even more in the near future.
