Abstract
U ovom radu upoznat ćemo se s načinom rada Otto motora, njihovim glavnim dijelovima te razlikama između četvero i dvotaktnih izvedbi. Motor je stroj koji pretvara neki oblik energije u mehanički rad. Motori s unutarnjim izgaranjem koriste kemijsku energiju goriva koje izgara unutar radnog prostora za dobivanje mehaničkog rada kojeg koristimo za pokretanje vozila. Kod dvotaktnih motora taj proces se odvija u jednom okretaju koljenastog vratila, a kod četverotaktnih u dva okretaja.
Abstract (english)
In this paper we are going to explain the working principles of Otto motors, its main parts and the differences between four stroke and two stroke engines. Engine is a machine that turns any kind of energy into mechanical work. Internal combustion engines turn the chemical energy of the fuel that burns inside the cylinder to mechanical work that we use to power the vehicle. At two stroke engines this process occurs in one rotation of the crankshaft and in four stroke engines it occurs in two rotations.
