Abstract
Stope zaposlenosti i nezaposlenosti su jedne od najhitnijih gospodarskih pokazatelja neke države, isto tako tema nezaposlenosti i zaposlenosti jako je popularna u Republici Hrvatskoj, ponajprije radi teške gospodarske situacije koja je nastala zbog velike gospodarske krize koja je započela 2008. godine. Cilj ovog rada je upoznati se s pojmovima zaposlenosti i nezaposlenosti, promatrati i analizirati njihov odnos, te usporediti odnos između zaposlenih u javnom i privatnom vlasništvu u Republici Hrvatskoj. Spearmanovim koeficijentom korelacije analizirana je povezanost između verižnih indeksa zaposlenosti, potvrđujući njihovu obrnutu dinamiku. Nadalje, Wilcoxonovim testom pokazano kako ne postoji statistički značajna razlika u distribuciji indeksa u privatnom i državnom sektoru.
Abstract (english)
Employment and unemployment rates are one of the most important economic indicators of a country. Thus, unemployment and employment are very popular issues in Croatia, primarily due to the difficult economic situation resulting from the economic crisis that began in 2008. The main goal of this thesis is to become familiar with the concepts of employment and unemployment, to observe and analyze their relationship, and also to compare the relationship between the employment indices in the public and private sector in the Republic of Croatia. By using Spearman correlation coefficient, the relationship between chain indices of employment and unemployment was analyzed where their reverse dynamics was confirmed. Furthermore, by using Wilcoxon test, it was shown that there is no statistically significant difference in the distribution of employment indices in the private and public sector.
