Abstract
Socijalne vještine se odnose na vještine, verbalna i neverbalna ponašanja, koje naučimo kako bi ostvarili uspješne odnose s obitelji, prijateljima, poznanicima i osobama koje predstavljaju određen autoritet. Djelotvorno postizanje emocionalnih, socijalnih i drugih ciljeva u odnosima s drugima postiže se uspješnom socijalnom interakcijom koja ne bi bila moguća bez potrebnih specifičnih znanja i vještina. Usvajanjem pro socijalnih ponašanja i određenih vještina, koje omogućuju razumijevanje okoline i djelotvorno snalaženje u svakodnevnim situacijama, stvara se socijalno kompetentna osoba. Kompetentnost osigurava individualni uspjeh, ali i društvu u cjelini.
Abstract (english)
Social skills refer to skills, verbal and nonverbal behaviour, which we use to achieve successful relationships with family, friends, acquaintances and people who represent a certain authority. Effectively achieving the emotional, social and other goals in relationship with others requires successful social interaction which would not be possible without specific knowledge and skills. The adoption of pro-social behaviors and certain skills, which allow an understanding of the environment and effective coping with everyday situations, creates socially competent person. This competency provides individual success, but also society in general.
