Abstract
Cesta je svaka javna prometnica, ulica u naselju i nerazvrstana cesta na kojoj se obavlja promet. Kao građevinski objekt sastoji se od donjeg i gornjeg ustroja. U smislu funkcionalne klasifikacije ceste se dijele na: primarnu, sekudarnu i ostalu mrežu. Primarna gradska mreža povezuje važne dijelove grada sa ulazima i izlazima iz grada, te sa važnim centrima i institucijama. Sekundarna gradska mreža slijeva promet prema sabirnim ulicama, odnosno na primarnu gradsku mrežu i u Gradu Zadru je mnogobrojnija od primarne gradske mreže. Cestovna mreža Grada Zadra je prostorno podijeljena na uzdužne i poprečene ulice. Grad Zadar ima dobar prostorni položaja te ima veliku priliku za razvoj, poboljšanje i rasterećenje cestovnih prometnica.
Abstract (english)
The road is any public road, street in the village and unclassified road which carries traffic. As a construction building, it consists of lower and upper structure. In terms of the functional classification, roads are divided into primary, secondary and other network. The primary city network connects the important parts of the city with entrances and exits, as well as with relevant centers and institutions. Secondary city network flows traffic to collecting streets, or on the primary city network, and is much more numerous in the city of Zadar than the primary urban networks. The road network of the city of Zadar is spatially divided into longitudinal and transverse streets. The city of Zadar has a good spatial position and also a great chance for the development, improvement and relief of the roads.
