Abstract
Uravnotežena i zdrava prehrana dovodi do maksimalne iskorištenosti ljudskih potencijala, ali u modernom je društvu prehrana postala dosta zanemarena jer ljudi pretežno pripremaju obroke za koje ne treba puno vremena, jedu na brzinu i neredovito itd. Ipak, sve veći broj ljudi počinje shvaćati ozbiljnost situacije i potrebu za zdravom hranom, a sve više njih poseže za prehranom koja uključuje što veću količinu proteina. U ovome radu pokušati ću vam približiti tzv. LCHP prehranu koja podrazumijeva smanjen unos ugljikohidrata i povećan unos proteina te koja omogućava, ne samo smanjenje tjelesne težine, već i pozitivan utjecaj na zdravlje. Govorit ću o proteinima koji su izuzetno bitni za izgradnju i održavanje mišića, krvi, kože, kosti i ostalih tkiva i organa tijela, te detaljno napisati primjere jelovnika ovakvih dijeta. Na kraju rada ću se osvrnuti i na moguće posljedice prekomjerne konzumacije proteina.
Abstract (english)
Balanced and healthy diet leads to maximal utilization of human potentials, but in modern society diet became neglected because people predominantly prepare meals which do not require much time, eat hastily and unsettled etc. Still, more and more people start to understand severity of situation and need for healthy food, and more and more people reach for diet which includes big amount of proteins. In this paper I will try to bring you closer to the so-called LCHP DIET which implies reduced intake of carbohydrates and increased intake of proteins which allows reduction of body weight and positive impact on health. I will talk about the proteins that are extremely important for building and maintaining muscles, blood, skin, bones and other tissues and organs of the body, and write in detail examples of menus of such diets. At the end of the paper, I will also look at the possible consequences of excessive protein consumption.
