Abstract
Turističke agencije i touroperatori su gospodarski subjekti u djelatnosti turizma koje organiziraju i prodaju putovanja i boravak te pružaju druge usluge putnicima i sudionicima turističkog prometa. Naime, turističke agencije se moraju prilagođavati zahtjevima na tržištu koji se kontinuirano mijenjaju, a to će uspjeti kreiranjem i organiziranjem inovativnih paket-aranžmana i ostalih usluga. Na taj način utječu na razvoj elemenata turističkih destinacija, od prirodnih resursa do subjekata turističke ponude, a samim time pridonose općem razvoju destinacije. Osim što sudjeluju u turističkom razvoju nekog područja, turističke agencije pridonose i razvoju infrastrukture te time poboljšavaju kvalitetu življenja lokalnog stanovništva. Koliko su uspješne turističke agencije u izvršavanju svojih poslovnih zadaća i aktivnosti dokazat će broj prodanih paket-aranžmana, odnosno porast u broju dolazaka turista koji posjećuju neku destinaciju te ju čine prepoznatljivom na turističkom tržištu. Ovaj završni rad obuhvaća pojmove turističkih agencija, touroperatora i turističkih destinacija te je objašnjen utjecaj spomenutih gospodarskih subjekata na turističke destinacije. Cilj rada je ustanoviti kako turističke agencije i touroperatori utječu na turističke destinacije.
Abstract (english)
Tourist agencies and tour operators are economic entities in tourism which organize and sell travel and provide other services to travelers and other participants of tourist traffic. Namely, tourist agencies must adapt to changing market demands by creating and organizing innovative package deals. Therefore, they influence on the development of tourist destination elements, from natural resources to tourist facilities. That way, they are contributing to the general development of the destination. Apart from participating in the tourism development of an area, tourist agencies also contribute to the development of infrastructure, thereby improving the quality of life of the local population. Number of sold package deals will determine the success of their business, that is, the increase in the number of arrivals of tourists who visit a destination and make it recognizable on the tourist market. This paper implicates terms of tourist agencies, tour operators, tourist destination and explains the impact of these two economic entities on tourist destinations. The aim of this paper is to establish how tourist agencies and tour operators influence on tourist destinations.
