Abstract
Za menadžment poduzeća je od izuzetne važnosti da poznaje profil motivacije svojih zaposlenih. Stoga se u radu definiraju funkcije menadžmenta, radna uspješnost, te uloga motivacije i menadžmenta u motiviranju zaposlenih. Prikazane su teorije motivacije: Hijerarhija potreba prema Maslowu, dvofaktorska teorija motivacije prema Herzbergu, Teorija X i teorija Y prema McGregoru, motivacijska teorija prema McClellandu i kognitivni model motivacije prema Vroomu. Odnos motivacije i menadžmenta u organizaciji vidljiv je iz opisanih zadataka koje menadžeri obavljaju na svome radnom mjestu. Zaposlenici će bolje i efikasnije obavljati svoj posao uz dodatnu novčanu nagradu ili drugi oblik motivacije.
Abstract (english)
For business management it is of utmost importance to know the motivation profile of its employees. Therefore, in business, we have to define management functions, work performance, and the role of motivation and management in motivating employees. Next theories of motivation are demonstrated: Hierarchy of Needsaccording to Maslow, Two-factor motivation theory according to Herzberg, Theory X and theory Y according to McGregor, McClelland's motivational theory, and cognitive motivation model according to Vroom. The relationship between motivation and management in the organization is visible from the tasks described by the managers at their workplace. People will do their job better and more efficiently with an additional cash prize or other form of motivation.
