Abstract
Ljudi su oduvijek bili privučeni onim što im se nudi na nekom drugom mjesto jer to nisu mogli naći u mjestu stanovanja. Kada je riječ o povoljnom načinu smještaja tada se naglasak daje posebno na kampove. Budući da je smještaj u kampovima relativno povoljan u odnosu na druge smještaje, oni privlače velik broj turista. Što se tiče hrvatske obale, kampovi se uglavnom nalaze i blizini gradova, tako da je turistu ponuđeno sve: od smještaja ,zabave, rekreacije do ostalih sadržaja. Ovaj rad želi prikazati kako je kamping turizam počeo u Hrvatskoj kao i u Njemačkoj koja je krajem 50-tih postala vodeća država u kampingu u Europi, i koliko turista Njemačke danas dolazi u Hrvatsku kampirati.
Abstract (english)
People have always been attracted to what they have been offered at another place, because they could not find that in the place of residence. When it comes to affordable accommodation, camps have a major role. Since camping accommodation is relatively inexpensive, compared to other accommodations, they attract more and more tourists. As far as the Croatian coast is concerned, camps are mostly located near the cities, so the tourist is offered all: from accommodation, entertainment, recreation to other contents. The aim of this paper is to show how camping tourism started in Croatia, as well as in Germany, which in the late 50s became the leading country in the campsite in Europe. And yet, how many tourists from Germany come to Croatia nowdays to camp.
