AbstractTemelj zdravog života je pravilna prehrana. Pravilnom prehranom čovjek brine o svom zdravlju, ali i dovodi svoju uspješnost na zavidnu razinu. Najbolji primjer uspješnosti su sportaši koji svojom prehranom kontroliraju svoj uspjeh. Jedan od najboljih tenisača svijeta, Novak Đoković, pravilnoj prehrani, u kojoj je izbacio sve namirnice koje sadrže gluten, pripisuje sve svoje uspjehe. On, naime, smatra da se njegov život skroz promijenio otkad prakticira bezglutensku prehranu. Cilj ovoga rada je stoga prikazati kako bezglutenska prehrana djeluje na organizam čovjeka, s naglaskom na sportaše. Sportaši su kategorija ljudi kojima treba najviše energije i dobivaju ju prvenstveno konzumiranjem hrane. Iako je gluten važan protein, on se lako nadomjesti drugim žitaricama koje su bogate raznim hranjivim tvarima. U sportskom svijetu se ovakva prehrana sve više prakticira.

Parallel abstract (English)The foundation of a healthy lifestyle is proper nutrition. Proper diet cares about their health, but also brings their performance to an enviable level. The best example of the success of the athletes is that their diet controls success. One of the best tennis players in the world, Novak Djokovic, proper nutrition, which threw out all foods that contain gluten, attributed all his success. He was considered to his life completely changed since practiced gluten-free diet. The aim of this paper is therefore presented as gluten-free diet effect on the human body, with an emphasis on sports. Athletes are categories of people who need the most energy and get them primarily by eating food. Although the gluten protein is important, it is easy to replace other grains that are rich in various nutrients. In the sports world, this kind of diet is increasingly practiced.
