AbstractTema ovog rada bavi se tradicionalnom slavonskom gastronomijom, odnosno autohtonim i domaćim jelima koja su kroz povijest stvarali Slavonci. Razvoj same gastronomske ponude Slavonije može se promatrati kroz daleku povijest kada je ovo područje i njegovi teritoriji bilo pod opsadom, a kasnije i vlašću prvo Mađara, a zatim i Turaka. Upravo ta povijesna zbivanja doprinijela su razvoju tradicionalne slavonske kuhinje po svemu različite od ostatka Hrvatske, a opet, s druge strane tako posebne zbog načina pripremanja raznovrsnih jela. Iako turizam u Slavoniji nije grana koja se intenzivno razvija, niti se može razvijati pored kupališnog turizma kakav je u Dalmaciji, ipak postoje drugi oblici turizma kojima se može razvijati turistička ponuda u ovim krajevima. Tu svoje mjesto, upravo zbog specifičnosti i tradicije, može naći gastro turizam uz koji se usko veže i eno turizam te oživjeti ove krajeve. Gatronomsku ponudu Slavonije čine prije svega autohtona slavonska jela, slavonska kuhinja te slavonska vina. Zbog takvih činjenica, Slavonija ima veliku perspektivu za razvoj ovog oblika turizma i njegovu promociju te stvaranje dodane vrijednosti svojim krajevima i svojoj turističkoj ponudi.

Parallel abstract (English)This paper present the traditional Slavonian cuisine thought it`s indigenous and local dishes. The development of the gastronomic offer of Slavonia is result of the distant history when this area was under siege, first under Hungarians and then under the Turks. That historical events contributed to the development of traditional Slavonian cuisine which is different from the rest of Croatia. Although, tourism in Slavonia is not a branch that grows constantly, like beach tourism in Dalmatia, there are other forms of tourism that can be developed in this region like gastronomic tourism. Huge offer of gastronomy of Slavonia are mainly indigenous Slavonian dishes, Slavonia cuisine and Slavonian wines. Because of these facts, Slavonia has great potential for the development of this type of tourism.
