Abstract
U današnje je vrijeme turizam vrlo popularna aktivnost većine ljudi u razvijenome svijetu te jedan od glavnih prihoda u mnogim državama. U Republici Hrvatskoj turizam predstavlja najvažniju gospodarsku granu i iz tog se razloga puno i ulaže u njega. Catering, kao jedan od oblika ugostiteljske usluge, predstavlja vrlo važan čimbenik u razvoju turizma ove zemlje. Naime, catering je prisutan u većini ugostiteljskih i smještajnih objekata jer svatko tko negdje noći želi i pojesti i popiti nešto. Stoga se catering pokazao kao kvalitetna i dobra te gostu prihvatljiva opcija. U ovome se radu definira sam pojam cateringa, prikazuje se njegova podjela te se prikazuju primjeri cateringa u svjetskom turizmu, ali i turizmu Republike Hrvatske. Upravo se iz ovog rada može vidjeti što sve pružaju catering objekti i koliko oni doprinose hrvatskom turizmu.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays, tourism is very popular activity of the most people in developed countries and one of the main incomes in most of the countries. In the Republic of Croatia tourism presents the most important commercial branch and, because of that, it is a lots of invest in. Catering presents very important factor in the tourism's development of this country. Therefore, catering is used in most of catering and accommodation objects because everbody wants smething to eat and drink. So, catering proved like quality and good and, for the guest, acceptable option. In this paper it is defined term of catering, it is shown its division and examples of catering in worldwide, but croatian's tourism. Just from this paper it can be concluded what catering objects provide and how much contribute to croatian's tourism.
