In this paper, electronic public administration of Republic of Croatia is elaborated. Described how was e – public administration created and developed over the years. Some of the many definition of e – public administration are listed, its evolution and how it is find its importance and application both in the world and in Croatia. Advantages and disadvantages of e – public adminitration are presented. Described is the path in which the development of e – public adminitration aimed at citizens in the Republic of Croatia and which strategic goals were foeseen for the future and which were realized. Since the adoption of program e – Croatia 2007, Croatia has made great progress in informatization of the public sector and in the development of quality and publicly – targeted public services. There are many new services in the different areas like justicer, healthcare, business, eduction and others that are available to citizens over the last few years via the Internet. There is still planty of room for improving the existing services and creating new electronic services and solutions. The introduction od electronic identification document which are based on smart card technology (e.g. e – identity card) will increase the opportunities for development and implementation of e – government services in the Croatia. The data of research are carried out on the basis of a semple of student and show the current state of e – public administration according to respondents. At the end of the paper, recommendations for the successful use of e – goverment services in the future are made.
