Abstract
Međunarodno humanitarno pravo ranije nazivano ratno pravo ili pravo oružanih sukoba, je zbirka prava koja obuhvaća Ženevske i Haške konvencije te naknadne ugovore, sudsku praksu i međunarodno običajno pravo. Ono određuje ponašanje i odgovornosti zaraćenih država, neutralnih država i pojedinaca uključenih u ratovanje u odnosu jednih prema drugima, kao i u odnosu na zaštićene osobe, pri čemu se u pravilu misli na civile.
Abstract (english)
International humanitarian law formerly known as the military law or the law of armed conflict is a collection of law that includes "the Geneva Conventions and the Hague Conventions, as well as subsequent treaties, case law, and customary international law." It defines the conduct and responsibilities of belligerent nations, neutral nations, and individuals engaged in warfare, in relation to each other and to protected persons, usually meaning non-combatants.
