Abstract
Osiguranje je ugovor između dvije strane, osiguravajuće društvo i osiguranik, u kojem se osiguravajuće društvo obvezuje osigurati imovinu, vozilo ili dr. na zahtjev osiguratelja, a on se obvezuje za to plaćati naknadu. Osiguranje postoji još iz davnih vremena gdje su trgovci osiguravali svoja plovila i robu od nesreća tokom puta. Kako prije, tako i danas, osiguranje ima vrlo važnu ulogu u poslovanju i zaštiti poduzeća i pojedinaca. Tržište osiguranja je mjesto gdje se susreću ponuđači i kupci instrumenata osiguranja, a rad tržišta i osiguravajućih društava kontrolira HANFA; Hrvatska agencija za nadzor financijskih usluga. Dvije osnovne vrste osiguranja su životno i neživotno osiguranje, gdje se životno odnosi na osiguranje života pojedinaca, dok pod neživotna osiguranja spadaju osiguranje imovine, vozila, plovila, putno osiguranje, itd. Osiguravajuće društvo je financijska institucija koja pruža usluge osiguranja. Ono je nebankarsko društvo, te ima važnu ulogu na financijskom tržištu.
Abstract (english)
Insurance is a contract between two parties, the insurance company and the insured, in which the insurance company agrees to insure the property, vehicles and others. At the request of the insurer, and on it undertakes in order to pay compensation. Ensuring there since the ancient times where merchants secured their vessels and goods of accidents along the way. Both before and today, insurance plays an important role in business and protect companies and individuals. The insurance market is where suppliers and buyers meet collateral, and the work market and insurance companies controlled by HANFA; Croatian Agency for Supervision of Financial Services. Two basic types of insurance are life and non-life insurance, where life relating to insurance of life of individuals while under non-life insurance includes property insurance, vehicles, boats, travel insurance, ETC. The insurance company is a financial institution that provide insurance services. It`s the nonbank society, and plays an important role in financial markets.
