Abstract
Djeca su uvijek barem posredno žrtve oružanih sukoba. Ne postoji sukob koji nije značajno utjecao na njihov rast i razvoj, psihičku stabilnost, blagostanje ili osjećaj sigurnosti. Što je sukob veći jači je i njegov utjecaj na dječju populaciju. Samo pridržavanjem pravila humanitarnog prava i osnovnih načela zaštite ljudskih prava, sukobljene oružane snage mogu utjecati na smanjenje utjecaja sukoba na osobe koje nisu s njime usko povezane. Međutim, prečesto je dio vojne strategije iskorištavanje i ponižavanje civila, uključujući djecu. Ubojstva, mučenje, zatvaraje, nasilno regrutiraje djece, silovanje djevojčica, spaljivanje ili sravnjivanje njihovih domova sa zemljom,pogibelj roditelja u ratu, sve je to nažalost dio svakodnevice u ratom zahvaćenim područjima. Posljedica neprijateljstava za dijete nije samo trenutačna, puno su to dalekosežnije posljedice za dijete i njegov psiho-fizički razvoj.
Abstract (english)
Children are always at least indirectly victims of armed conflicts. There is no conflict that hadn’t significantly affected their growth and development, mental stability, well-being and sense of security. The stronger is the conflict, that much stronger is his influence on the children population. Only with adherence to the rules of humanitarian law and basic principles of human rights, conflicted armed forces can influence the reduction of the impact of the conflict on the people who are not closely connected to it. However, too often part of a military strategy is exploitation and humiliation of civilians, including children. Murder, torture, violent recruit of children, rape of girls, burning od devastating their homes to the ground, dying of parents in the war, all this is unfortunately part of everyday life in war-affected areas. The consequence of hostilities for a child not only current, a lot of these are far-reaching consequences for the child and his psycho-physical development.
