Rad istražuje strukturu i ulogu Europskog parlamenta kao jedne od ključnih institucija Europske unije. Analiziraju se povijesni razvoj, jačanje zakonodavnih i nadzornih ovlasti te značaj Ugovora iz Maastrichta i Lisabonskog ugovora u osnaživanju pozicije Parlamenta unutar institucionalnog okvira EU-a. Poseban naglasak stavlja se na zakonodavne postupke, ulogu parlamenta u vanjskim poslovima te suradnju s nacionalnim parlamentima, čime se osigurava demokratska legitimnost unije. Rad također... The paper explores the structure and role of the European Parliament as one of the key institutions of the European Union. It examines the historical development, the strengthening of legislative and supervisory powers, and the significance of the Maastricht Treaty and the Lisbon Treaty in empowering the Parliament within the institutional framework of the EU.
