Abstract
Tema ovog rada su ERP sustavi s fokusom na jedan od vodećih ERP sustava, a to je SAP ERP sustav. U prvom dijelu rada definirani su poslovni informacijski sustav, njihove vrste kroz povijest, te komponente od kojih se oni sastoje. Nakon obrađenih informacijskih sustava dolazi se do ERP sustava. Definiran je ERP kao sustav i kao pojam, navedeno je što on donosi poduzećima te zašto se poduzeća odlučuju za njega. ERP sustavi opisani su i kroz njihove prednosti i mane. Također, povijesni razvoj ERP-a jedno je od poglavlja ovog završnog rada. Potom, prolazi se kroz faze implementacije ERP-a, a nakon obrađenog tržišta ERP sustava, konačno dolazimo do tržištnog leadera ERP- a, a to je SAP informacijski sustav. Definiran je kao sustav, navedene su njegove karakteristike, nabrojani su njegovi moduli, te se navode njegove prednosti i nedostaci. U istom poglavlju imenovana su svjetska poduzeća koja se služe SAP-om, kao i ona domaća poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj te jedno poglavlje zasebno govori o SAP informacijskom sustavu Republici u Hrvatskoj. Posljednje poglavlje bilo je konfigurirati SAP sustav za zamišljeno poduzeće, te zašto bih se na temelju vlastitih saznanja odlučila za SAP informacijski sustav.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper, ERP systems were explained, with main focus on SAP ERP system, which is one of the lead ERP systems today. In the first part of the paper, business information systems, their types throughout history, and their components are defined. After the information systems are explained, comes ERP system. It is defined both as a system and as a concept, it is stated what ERP gives to companies, and why the same companies decide to use ERP in the first place. Pros and cons of ERP systems are stated as well. Also, development of the ERP systems is one of the chapters in this paper. After that, phases of implementation of the ERP systems are explained, which is followed by defining the SAP information systems. It is defined as a system, his characteristics are stated as well as his modules, which is followed by comparing his pros and cons. Both worldwide and nationwide companies that use the SAP system are named in the same chapter. There is also one chapter dedicated to companies in the Republic of Croatia that use the SAP system. The final chapter was about configuring SAP system for a made up company, and why I would decide to use the SAP information system based on my knowledge of it.
