Abstract
Životno partnerstvo je zajednica obiteljskog života dviju osoba istog spola sklopljena predjskog života dviju osoba istog spola sklopljena pred matičarem matičarem u Republici Hrvatskoj, , temelji se na načelima ravnopravnosti, međusobnom poštovanju dostojanstva, pomaganju i uvažavanju. Klapa se u nazočnosti osoba koje namjeravaju sklopiti životno partnerstvo, matičara i dva svjedoka. Zabranjuje se svaki oblik diskriminacije temeljem sklopljenog životnog partnerstva, seksualne orijentacije i... More rodnog identiteta. Brak, izvanbračna zajednica, životno partnerstvo te neformalno životno partnerstvo su priznate kao zajednice koje predstavljaju obiteljski život. Abstract (english)
A life partnership is a community of family life of two persons of the same sex concluded before a registrar in the Republic of Croatia, based on the principles of equality, mutual respect for dignity, helping and respect. It is concluded in the presence of persons intending to enter into a life partnership, the registrar and two witnesses. Any form of discrimination based on a life partnership, sexual orientation and gender identity is prohibited. Marriage, cohabitation, life partnership,... More and informal life partnership are recognized as communities that represent family life. The life partnership in rights and effects is equated with the marital union of persons of different sexes, but with the exception of the joint adoption of children and the rights concerning single parenthood. In the Republic of Croatia, family life and life partnership are protected by the Constitution, the European Convention on Human Rights and the Constitutional Court. The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union clearly states that human dignity is inviolable, guarantees equality and non-discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation. Given this, the conclusion and termination of a life partnership is regulated by the Life Partnership Act for persons of the same sex, OG 92/44, 98/19, while the Family Law prevents the same rights for life partners.
