The purpose of this paper is to show the strategic options that are offered to the company and to show how strategy and strategic tools such as Igor Ansoff’s development vectors can help in the development and growth of companies and organizations. Strategy can be explained as a series of moves and approaches which are used to ensure the desired market position and achieve the set goals, as well as to make the company as competitive as possible in the market and attract as many consumers as possible. One of the tools that companies use to analyze and plan the necessary growth strategies is the Ansoff matrix. The matrix shows four strategies that can be used to help a company grow and also analyzes the risk associated with each strategy. It is important for each company to set the appropriate strategy and to assess the risks they are dealing with in order to be competitive in the market and operate with profit. The growth and development of a company is a long-term process in which many obstacles can be encountered and it can be risky for the company and eventually lead to its failure, but also the company can find a way to solve these problems and achieve success. If companies use the necessary tools, strategies, analyze, research and take all the necessary steps to succeed, then that effort will pay off.
