Abstract
Poduzetništvo je staro koliko i ljudsko društvo, a pojmovi poduzetnik i poduzetništvo danas su sinonimi gospodarskog razvitka i uspješnosti pojedinca, regije ili države. Bio mali, srednji ili veliki poduzetnik, svaki od njih ima odgovornost koju je preuzeo rizikom započinjanja bilo kakvog novog posla jer svaki novi posao ili ideja koja se treba ostvariti, otkriva pravog poduzetnika. Srednje poduzetništvo u Hrvatskoj predstavlja jedan od vodećih gospodarskih sektora koji pozitivno djeluje na sveukupno zapošljavanje kao i na postotak gospodarskog razvoja dok veliko poduzetništvo nije toliko razvijeno i postoji tek nekolicina poduzeća u tom sektoru, ali i dalje imaju veliku ulogu u hrvatskom gospodarstvu budući da također doprinose većoj zaposlenosti. U ovom radu govoriti će se općenito o pojmovima poduzetništva i poduzetnika, navesti će se vrste i funkcije te će se obraditi pojmovi srednjeg i velikog poduzetništva općenito, ali s naglaskom na te dvije vrste poduzetništva u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english)
Entrepreneurship is as old as human society, and the terms entrepreneur and entrepreneurship today are synonymous economic development and the success of individual regions or countries. If it is a small, middle or big enterprise, each of them has a responsibility that has taken the risk of starting any new job for every new business or idea that can be realized, reveals a true entrepreneur. Middle enterprises in Croatia is one of the leading sectors of the economy that has a positive effect on overall employment and share of economic development while big enterprises is not so developed and there are few companies in the sector, but still have a big role in the Croatian economy since they also contribute greater employment. In this paper we will talk about general terms of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs, specify the types and functions, and processed terms of medium and big enterprises in general, but with a focus on these two types of enterprises in the Republic of Croatia.
