Abstract Računalstvo u oblaku (eng. Cloud Computing) je koncept podjele programskog okruženja koje se koristi internetom kao platformom te omogućuje da aplikacije i dokumenti odaslani iz bilo kojeg dijela svijeta budu pohranjeni i čuvani na za to predviđenim poslužiteljima. Do razvoja računalstva u oblaku dovele su razne tehnologije i usluge, od kojih kao najvažnije treba spomenuti mrežno računalstvo, SaaS usluge, usluge udomljavanja te virtualizacija. Računalstvo u oblaku je sveprisutan, prikladan mrežni pristup koji je omogućava prilagodljivu i elastičnu raspoloživost računalnih resursa (npr. Mreža, poslužitelja, pohrane, aplikacija i usluga) uz minimalni napor za upravljanje o kojem brine pružatelj usluga. Model oblaka ima pet osnovnih značajki, tri modela pružanja usluga i četiri modela implementacije. Računalstvo u oblaku se može pružiti kroz tri različita modela: infrastruktura kao uluga, platforma kao usluga i aplikacija kao usluga. Velika većina IT korporacija danas pruža neki oblik računalstva u oblaku. Najpoznatije su Google, Amazon i Microsoft. Najveća prednost računalstva u oblaku je korištenje po potrebi. Korisnici ne moraju nabavljati vlastitu opremu i aplikacije nego plaćaju korištenje oblaka. Glavni nedostaci su problemi sigurnosti i dostupnosti. Sigurnost je vrlo važna za tvrtke pa kada premještaju svoje aplikacije u oblak ili u oblaku grade nove aplikacije, moraju imati detaljno razrađen i konzistentan sigurnosni model koji će im olakšati razvoj, spriječiti pogreške i očuvati vrijednosti i osigurati kontinuitet poslovanja. Koliko je računalstvo u oblaku razvijeno, najbolje govori činjenica da više od stotinu milijuna korisnika diljem svijeta svakodnevno koriste usluge poput Netflix-a, Gmail-a, Dropbox-a, Microsoft Office-a, društvenih mreža i aplikacija na njima i druge, koje su bazirane na oblaku i nude kompletna rješenja za poslovanje u oblaku i usluge za individualne korisnike računala i pametnih telefona.
Abstract (english) Cloud computing is the concept of the division of the program environment which uses the Internet as a platform and enables applications and documents sent out from all over the world to be stored and kept on particular servers. A variety of technologies and services have been brought to the development of cloud computing, including the most important network computing, SaaS services, hosting services and virtualization. Cloud computing is an omnipresent, convenient networking approach that can be easily accessed and disassembled by adaptive computer resources (such as a network, server, storage, application, and service) with minimal effort to manage a service provider. This cloud model consists of five basic features, three service models, and four implementation models. Cloud computing can be provided through three different models: Infrastructure as a part, platform as a service and application as a service. Nowadays, the great majority of IT corporations provide some kind of cloud computing. The most famous ones are Google, Amazon and Microsoft. The biggest advantage in cloud computing is the “pay as you go” option. Users do not have to pay for their equipment but instead pay for using cloud computing. Main disadvantages are security and accessibility issues. Security is very important for businesses, so when they migrate their cloud applications or cloud upgrades, they need to have a sophisticated and consistent security model that will help them evolve, prevent errors and preserve values and ensure business continuity. As cloud computing has been developed, it is best to say that more than a hundred million users around the world daily use services such as Netflix, Gmail, Dropbox, Microsoft Office, social networks and applications on them and others that are cloud-based and offer complete Cloud Computing solutions and services for individual PC and smartphones.
