Abstract
U ovome tekstu riječ će biti o specijaliziranim ustanovama općenito, a u koje spada i UNESCO, danas jedna od najvećih svjetskih međunarodnih organizacija za obrazovanje, znanost i kulturu te o povezanosti UNESCO organizacije i Hrvatske. Naša Republika Hrvatska članicom UNESCO – a postala je 1. lipnja 1992. u Parizu, te je time i ratificirala Statut i postala punopravna država članica te velike međunarodne organizacije. Osnovan je 1945.godine a svoje sjedište ima u Parizu. Cilj organizacije je unaprijediti te poboljšati međunarodnu suradnju na području obrazovanja, znanosti i kulture. Da bi se spomenici i prirodne cjeline svjetskih država što bolje zaštitile, sačuvale za buduće generacije, predstavljale u najboljem svjetlu te promicale njihove iznimne vrijednosti, UNESCO je 1972. donio Konvenciju o zaštiti svjetske kulturne i prirodne baštine, zatim i Listu u koju se upisuju svjetski spomenici od izuzetne vrijednosti koji zadovoljavaju kriterije donesene Konvencijom. Do danas je na tu listu upisano ukupno 1073 dobara. Niz prirodnih ljepota Hrvatske s razlogom su zaslužile da budu zaštićene na UNESCO – ovoj listi svjetske kulturne i prirodne baštine.Kroz ovaj rad ćemo prikazati općenito UNESCO organizaciju te spomeničke cjeline i prirodne ljepote Hrvatske upisane na UNESCO – ovu listu.
Abstract (english)
This article will cover specialized institutions in general, including UNESCO, today one of the world's largest international organizations for education, science and culture and the link between the UNESCO and Croatia. Our Republic of Croatia became a member of UNESCO on June 1, 1992 in Paris, thus ratifying the Statute and becoming a full member state of this great international organization. It was founded in 1945 and has its headquarters in Paris. The organization's aim is to improve and enhance international cooperation in the field of education, science and culture. In order to protect the monuments and natural worlds of the world as a whole, to preserve them for future generations, to represent the best in light and to promote their exceptional values, in 1972 UNESCO adopted the Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, and the List of Worldwide monuments of exceptional value that meet the criteria laid down in the Convention. To date, a total of 1073 entries have been entered. A number of natural beauties of Croatia deserve merit to be protected on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Through this work, we will present the UNESCO general organization and the monumental ensemble and natural beauty of Croatia listed on the UNESCO list.
