Abstract
Komunalni otpad predstavlja otpad iz kućanstava, otpad koji se stvara čišćenjem javnih površina te otpad koji nastaje u nekim drugim djelatnostima koji je po svojem sastavu i svojstvima sličan otpadu iz kućanstava. Ono čime svaki pojedinac može pripomoći sustavnom gospodarenju otpadom svakako je odvojeno prikupljanje otpada kako bi se koristan otpad mogao iskoristiti te promijeniti potrošačke navike.
Abstract (english)
Municipal waste is waste from households, waste generated by the cleaning of public areas and wastes generated by other activities that are similar in terms of composition and properties of waste from households. What makes each individual can assist with systematic waste management is to separate collection of waste so that useful waste can be used and change consumer habits.
