In this paper we explain and performs the correlation and regression analysis in statistics. These two methods are used in the analysis of the characteristics of a case that seeks to specifically analyze the statistics, in order to be on the basis of these analyses can make conclusions on the show. The difference between these two analyses is that the correlation analysis examines the association between the two factors, namely the two variables some instances of which we can describe the direction and strength of the linear relationship, but we can't conclude about the cause and subsequent comparison the observed variables; While regression analysis examines the dependence of the dependent on the independent variables, which enables the analysis of the strength and direction apart from the linear connection and more analysis of the forms of linkage and analysis in terms of independent/dependent over which we can determine the value of the dependent variables based on the knowledge of the values of the independent variables. The performance of correlation and regression analysis is a statistical procedure is complex, and this paper contains a detailed method of their execution.
