Abstract
Glavni predmet ovog rada jest važnost njemačkog jezika u hotelijerstvu. Govoreći o hotelijerstvu, odnosno hotelskom poslovanju, višejezičnost i poznavanje njemačkog jezika kao jednog od njih sve je neophodnije. Također je prikazana prednost njemačkog jezika u odnosu na engleski, te kako je znanje jezika u hotelskom poslovanju neophodno. U sklopu ovog rada provedeno je i istraživanje među studentskom populacijom o važnosti njemačkog jezika u hotelijerstvu. Ovaj rad pokušava prikazati zašto je u hotelijerstvu veoma važno, da hotelski zaposlenici znaju usmeno i pisano komunicirati na njemačkom jeziku. Zahvaljujući globalizaciji i ulasku Hrvatske u Europsku uniju, njemački jezik dobiva na sve većoj važnosti.
Abstract (english)
The main subject of this paper is the importance of German language in the hotel business. Considering about hospitality and hotel business, knowledge of German language is important in a multilingual environment. The advantage of the German language in relation to English is displayed in this paper, as well as the necessity of the German language knowledge in the hotel business. A survey questionaire is carried out among students, so as to find out about the importance of the German language in the hotel business. The author of this paper states, that it is very important for tourists, that hotel employees are skilled in German spoken and written language. Thanks to the globalization and the accession of Croatia to the European Union, the German language gains more and more importance.
