Abstract
S obzirom na činjenicu da je turizam jedna od najbrže rastućih gospodarskih djelatnosti u svjetskom gospodarstvu logičan slijed je unaprjeđenje klasičnih smještajnih objekata. Budući da u svijetu postoji problem potrošnje energenata pojedine korporacije su počele nuditi eko hotele koji iz godine u godinu postaju sve popularniji. Na putu prema tome uspostavljeni su mnogi standardi koje pojedini hotel mora implementirati, procesi koje mora proći te norme i pravila koje je potrebno usvojiti kako bi se tranzicijski proces odvio pravilno i bez većih problema. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati važnost upravljanja kvalitetom, uvođenja ISO 14000 te upravljanja okolišem u hotelijerstvu.
Abstract (english)
Given the fact that tourism is one of the fastest growing economic activities in the world economy, a logical sequence is the improvement of classical accommodation facilities. Since there is a problem of energy consumption in the world, individual corporations have begun to offer eco-hotels that become more and more popular every year. On the way, there are many standards that a particular hotel has to implement, the processes that must go through, the standards and rules that need to be adopted in order for the transition process to take place properly and without major problems. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the importance of quality management, introduction of ISO 14000 and environmental management in hotel industry.
