Abstract
U radu se govori o turizmu kao elementu i ĉimbeniku održivog razvoja na podruĉju Poţeško-slavonske ţupanije. Izgradnja identiteta Županije kao vinske destinacije te znaĉajan potencijal u stvaranju prepoznatljive eno-gastro ponude, značajno doprinose razvoju ruralnog turizma. Sve se više malih obiteljskih gospodarstava odluĉuje za ovaj vid turizma kao glavnu mogućnost njihovog razvoja. Ruralni turizam znaĉajan je ĉimbenik u aktivaciji i odrţivom razvoju ruralnih podruĉja Poţeško-slavonske ţupanije koji pomaţe oĉuvanju lokalnog identiteta, tradicije i obiĉaja, štiti okoliš, jaĉa autohtonu, tradicijsku i ekološku proizvodnju te pomaţe razvoju ruralnih krajeva. Osnovne prepreke razvoja turizma u Požeško-slavonskoj ţupaniji oĉituju se u neorganiziranoj turistiĉkoj ponudi koja ovisi o inicijativama pojedinaca, nepostojanju marketinških i promotivnih aktivnosti, nerazvijenoj turistiĉkoj infrastrukturi, nedostatku smještajnih kapaciteta i neadekvatnom obrazovanom stanovništvu u ugostiteljskom i turistiĉkom sektoru.
Abstract (english)
The main theme of this paper is tourism as an element and a factor for sustainable development in Poţega-slavonia county. Construction identity of county as a wine destination and significant potential in creating recognizable food and wine supply, significantly contribute to the development of rural tourism. More and more small familiy farms decide for this type of tourism as a major opportunity for their development. Rural turism is significant factor in activation and sustainable development for rural areas in Poţega-slavonia county which helps preserve the local identity, traditions and customs, protect the environment, strenghten autochthonous, traditional and ecological production and helps to rural development. The main obstacles for tourism development in Poţega-slavonia county are reflected in tourism supplyment which depends on the initiatives of individuals, the lack of marketing and promotional activities, underdeveloped tourism infrastructure, lack of accommodation and inadequately educated population in catering and tourism sector.
