Abstract
Mjenjač je sastavni dio motornog vozila kojemu pripada sistem prijenosa snage i postavljen je neposredno iza motora, odnosno spojnice. Bez mjenjača brzina, vozilo se ne bi moglo kretati raznim brzinama, ne bi se moglo stavljati u pokret, niti kretati unatrag i manevrirati s njim. Mjenjač brzina transformira obrtni moment motora i prenosi veću ili manju silu na kotače, u ovisnosti od otpora vožnje. Ovim radom ćemo se upoznati što je to mjenjač, koja je njegova uloga i zadatak, osnovnim pojmovima o mjenjačima te vrstama mjenjača.
Abstract (english)
The transmission is an integral part of a motor vehicle which belongs to the power transmission system and is located directly behind the engine or coupling. Without a gearbox, the vehicle could not move at different speeds, could not be put in motion, nor moved back and maneuvered with it. The gearbox transforms the motor engine's performance and transmits greater or lesser force to the wheels, depending on the driving resistance. With this work, we will know what the gearbox is, its role and task, the basic concepts of gearboxes and gear types.
