Abstract
U današnje vrijeme turizam se sve više razvija i poprima nove oblike, a samim time navike turista se mijenjaju te oni postaju sve zahtjevniji u pogledu zadovoljavanja svojih turističkih želja i potreba. Jedan od primjera specifične turističke destinacije je Las Vegas – grad koji je razvojem svoje turističke ponude postao istoznačnica za ludi provod, kockanje i trošenje, a često se naziva gradom koji nikada ne spava. Upravo zbog njegovih prethodno navedenih karakteristika je i nastao. Naime, Las Vegas je izmišljen iz jedinstvenog razloga – da pruži dobar provod svojim posjetiteljima, uživajući pritom osobinu najvećeg svjetskog centra kockarske industrije.
