Abstract
Ovaj rad objasnit će što su to autoceste i cestarine te koji sve sustavi naplate cestarine postoje. Autoceste kao prometnice najviše kategorije zahtijevaju najnovije tehnologije naplate cestarine kako bi omogućile nesmetano odvijanje prometa, smanjile gužve na naplatnim postajama te olakšale korisnicima autoceste samim time i plaćanje cestarina. U ovom radu posebno će biti objašnjena elektronička naplata cestarine, koje su njene pogodnosti, kako se nabavlja ENC uređaj, kako funkcionira te kako se primjenjuje u praksi i tko sve može postati korisnik elektroničkog plaćanja cestarine. U skoroj budućnosti koncesionari autocesta u Republici Hrvatskoj razmišljaju o uvođenju novih tehnologija što će pridonijeti razvijanju i poboljšanju već postojećih sustava naplate cestarine.
Abstract (english)
This article will explain what highways and tolls are and what systems of toll payments are there. Highway roads as the roads most categories requires the latest technologies of toll payment to enable the smooth flow of traffic, reducing congestion at toll places and to make easier for highway users to pay the toll. In this article electronic toll payment will be specialy explained, what are its benefits, how to obtain an ETC device, how it works and how it is applied in practice and who can become a user of electronic toll payment. In the near future concessionaires of highways in Republic of Croatia are thinking about the innovating new technologies which will contribute to the development and improvement of the existing toll payment systems.
