Abstract
Kvaliteta je mjera ili pokazatelj obujma odnosno iznosa uporabne vrijednosti nekog proizvoda ili usluge za zadovoljenje točno određene potrebe na određenom mjestu i u određenom trenutku. Postoje pokazatelji kvalitete proizvoda, pokazatelji kvalitete usluge, pokazatelji kvalitete procesa i pokazatelji kvalitete organizacije. Najpoznatiji i najkorišteniji modeli upravljanja kvalitetom su TQM, Šest Sigma i ISO 9000. Nagrade za kvalitetu nastale su kao poticaj unapređivanja upravljanja kvalitetom i poboljšanja rezultata poslovanja kao posljedice upravljanja kvalitetom. Najpoznatije nagrade za kvalitetu su: Demingova nagrada za kvalitetu, Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award te European Quality Award. Hrvatska još nema svoju nagradu za kvalitetu.
Abstract (english)
Quality is a measure or an indicator of a volume, that is of an amount of value in use of some product or service in order to satisfy the exactly determined need in the exact place and in the exactly determined moment. There are indicators of product quality, indicators for quality of the process and indicators of organization's quality. Best known and most used models of governing quality are TQM, Six Sigma and ISO 9000. Quality awards appeared as an incentive for improving managing the quality and to improve business results as a repercussion of managing the quality. Best known quality awards are: The Deming Prize, Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and European Quality Award. Croatia still does not have her own quality award.
