Abstract
Globalna financijska kriza izaziva izuzetno veliki istraživački interes za proučavanje uzroka koji su doveli do financijskog kolapsa. Dio tog analitičkog fokusa usmjeren je i prema poreznim oazama, svojevrsnim utočištima za poduzetnike s visokim ulaganjima, kapitalima i ostvarenjem dobit. Pritom su naglašene offshore kompanije koje u velikoj mjeri služe takvim poduzetnicima da ostvare svoje zacrtane ciljeve u ostvarivanju što veće dobit. Ovaj rad tematizira ulogu i značaj poreznih oaza u svijetu te offshore kompanija kao sredstava u poreznim oazama. U radu se također ispituje regulatorni okvir i utjecaj poreznih oaza na globalno gospodarstvo s ciljem njihovog prilagođavanja globalnim financijskim standardima. Porezne oaze osobito su postale zanimljive za vrijeme početka globalne financijske krize koja i danas još uvijek traje u nekim državama.
Abstract (english)
The global financial crisis caused a very great research interest in studying the causes that led to the financial collapse . Part of this analytical focus is directed towards tax havens , a place of refuge for businesses with high investment , capital and profit. The stress is placed offshore companies that largely serve these businesses to reach their target objectives in achieving the highest possible profits . This paper discusses the role and importance of tax havens in the world and an offshore company as assets in tax havens . The paper also examines the regulatory framework and the impact of tax havens in the global economy with a view to their adaptation to global financial standards . Tax havens have become especially interesting during the global financial crisis and today still continues in some countries
