They provided a better insight of the quality and the use of systems, equipment, tools that were developed to achieve the same. Also the quality gurus have warned us of the importance of managers and their work in order to achieve quality. Future of quality includes merging connection quality to other important factors such as ethics and social responsibility, environmental management, health protection, etc.
