AbstractPlin kao pogonsko gorivo motornih vozila, poznatije kao autoplin, u svijetu se koristi već duži niz godina. Glavni razlog pogona na autoplin je cijena, koja je, u odnosu na naftne derivate, znatno niža. Pogon na autoplin češće se koristi na otto motorima, dok je na diesel motorima nešto rijeđe viđen zbog visoke investicije. Ugradnja pogona na autoplin je znatno skuplja kod diesela, nego kod otto motora. Oprema i instalacije za pogon na autoplin su dosta slične kod oba motora. Diesel motori imaju više sustava koji pokreću motor, a najčešće se ugrađuje dual – fuel sustav. Kod dual – fuel sustava diesel motor kombinira diesel gorivo i autoplin, s tim da se na 100 km troši samo jedna litra autoplina. Autoplin je ekološki prihvatljiviji u odnosu na naftne derivate, te je idealna alternativa za smanjenje emisije štetnih plinova i očuvanje okoliša.

Parallel abstract (English)Natural gas as fuel for motor vehicles, known as LPG, in world is used for many years. The main reason LPG powered vehicle is the price, which is, in relation to petroleum products, much lower. LPG often can be seen on otto engines, while the diesel engines, something rarely seen because of high investment. Installing LPG is more expensive with diesel than with petrol engines. Equipment and installation of gas powered cars are quite similar in both engines. Diesel engines have more systems that run the engine, and is usually installed dual - fuel system. For dual - fuel the diesel engine combines diesel fuel and LPG, with the 100km consumes just one liter of autogas. LPG is environmentally friendly compared to petroleum products, and is an ideal alternative for reducing emissions and protecting the environment.
