Disciplinska odgovornost i provedba disciplinskih postupaka policijskih službenika je važna u osiguranju učinkovite pravne funkcije policijskog sustava, uzimajući u obzir poziciju policijskih službenika u kaznenopravnom sustavu. Disciplinska odgovornost je važna zbog nadzora nad radom policije. Policijski službenici su čuvari javnog interesa. Interna kontrola nad radom policije je u direktnoj službi zaštite ljudskih prava. Disciplinary accountability and implementation of disciplinary process of police officers is essential to ensure efficient and lawful function of the police service, taking in mind the position of the police officers in the criminal justice system. Disciplinary responsibility is important for supervision of the police. Police officers are the guardians of the public interest. Internal control over the work of the police is in direct function of protecting human rights. Police officers have a... More number of legal authority and they should do their job in accordance with the law. The disciplinary process plays an important role in holding police officers accountable for their behavoir. It is also important that the law protecting the rights of police officers. Police officers who work according to the law should not be harassed.
