Abstract
U Hrvatskoj brojne organizacije iz turističkog i kulturnog sektora rade na razvoju kulturnoturističkih proizvoda kako bi u svojim destinacijama razvile kulturni turizam. Kulturna baština je bogatstvo lokacije te se stavlja veliki naglasak na njezinu promociju, očuvanje i edukaciju lokalnog stanovništva kao i posjetitelja. U njezinoj interpretaciji koriste se brojni alati koji imaju za cilj na edukativan i zabavan način informirati posjetitelje, a jedan od alata koji je sve češće u upotrebi jest virtualna stvarnost. Primjena virtualne stvarnosti u interpretaciji kulturne baštine u svijetu je na izuzetno visokoj razini, dok je u Hrvatskoj još u razvoju. Rad polazi od definicija kulturnog turizma, baštine i interpretacije prema virtualnoj stvarnosti kao alatu za interpretaciju i specifičnim metodama, njezinim prednostima i nedostacima i zaključuje s najpoznatijim hrvatskim primjerima primjene virtualne stvarnosti u interpretaciji kulturne baštine.
Abstract (english)
In Croatia, numerous organizations from the tourism and cultural sectors are working on the development of cultural-tourism products to promote cultural tourism in their destinations. Cultural heritage is a valuable asset of any location, and great emphasis is placed on its promotion, preservation, and the education of both the local population and visitors. Various tools are used in its interpretation, aiming to inform visitors in an educational and entertaining way, with one of the increasingly used tools being virtual reality. The application of virtual reality in the interpretation of cultural heritage is at an exceptionally high level worldwide, while in Croatia, it is still in development. This paper starts by defining cultural tourism, heritage, and interpretation in relation to virtual reality as an interpretive tool, explores specific methods, its advantages and disadvantages, and concludes with the most well-known Croatian examples of virtual reality use in cultural heritage interpretation.
