The lean production system is a business principle by which the company shortens the time from the customer's order to the delivery of the finished product. In this way, the company eliminates all losses in the production process and produces exactly what the customer wants. With this principle, the company is focused on continuous improvement, focused on business processes and focused on customers. A Lean company is very different from a traditional one mainly because it is more dynamic. Then, the manager of a lean company sees his employees as a great potential and not a cost, which is why he motivates and stimulates them. Also, in lean companies teamwork and project approach are emphasized, and every new solution can be realized through a new team and as a new project. In this final paper, three case studies of the lean production system will be presented, and from each of them it can be concluded that it brought only advantages to companies and enabled them to operate more successfully.
