AbstractEtika pretežno označava skup načela, pravila i morala. Osnova za rješavanje svake etičke dileme u pregovaranju je suosjećanje. Sposobnost razumijevanja tuđih osjećaja i želja je temelj za shvaćanje jesu li postupci pregovarača etični ili neetični. Pregovaranje je proces u kojem dvije ili više osoba raspravljaju o zajedničkim i konfliktnim interesima s namjerom da postignu obostrano zadovoljstvo. U interesu svakog pregovarača bi trebalo biti da se ponaša etično u svakoj prilici kako bi mogao ostvariti dobar poslovni odnos i u budućnosti. Pregovarači bi trebali biti upoznati sa vrijednostima, poslovnim običajima i kulturom različitih naroda. U današnjem svijetu ne bi trebalo biti mjesta za predrasude, empatija bi trebala biti glavna osobina svakog globalnog pregovarača.

Parallel abstract (English)Ethics mainly meansa set of principles, rules and morals. The basis for the resolution of any ethical dilemmas in negotiating is compassion. The ability to understand other people's feelings and wishes is the foundation for understanding whether the actions of negotiators ethical or unethical. Negotiation is a process in which two or more people discuss common and conflicting interests with the intention to achieve mutual satisfaction. In the interest of each negotiator should be to behave ethically in all circumstances in order to realize a good business relationship in the future. Negotiators should be aware of the values, practices and culture of different peoples. In today's world there should be no room for prejudice, empathy should be a staple of every global negotiators.
