Abstract
Demografski trendovi u Republici Hrvatskoj uključuju prirodno i mehaničko kretanje stanovništva, koje pokazuje smanjenje stanovništva, starenje, iseljavanje i nizak natalitet. Negativni demografski trendovi imaju negativan utjecaj na sustave socijalnog osiguranja i skrbi. U radu se analiziraju mjere za suočavanje s demografskim deficitom, te ciljevi populacijske politike s kojim se bori protiv demografskog deficita, koji uključujući pronatalitetnu i redistributivnu populacijsku politiku. Sveobuhvatan pristup uključuje ekonomske poticaje, edukaciju, podršku obiteljima, zdravstvenu zaštitu i promociju pozitivnog duhovnog okruženja. Demografska obnova predstavlja ključni izazov za budućnost Hrvatske, s obzirom na starenje stanovništva, depopulaciju i negativne trendove u natalitetu i migracijama. Također se istražuju ekonomske prilike koje proizlaze iz srebrne ekonomije kao potencijalni izvor rasta i razvoja. Ovo je dugoročni proces koji zahtijeva cjelovit pristup, a ne samo kratkoročna rješenja.
Abstract (english)
Demographic trends in the Republic of Croatia include natural and mechanical population movement, which shows population decline, aging, emigration and low birth rate. Negative demographic trends have a negative impact on social security and welfare systems. Measures to deal with the demographic deficit are studied, as well as the goals of the population policy to combat the demographic deficit, including pronatal and redistributive population policy. A comprehensive approach includes economic incentives, education, family support, health care and the promotion of a positive spiritual environment. Demographic renewal represents a key challenge for the future of Croatia, given the aging of the population, depopulation and negative trends in birth rates and migration. Economic opportunities arising from the silver economy as a potential source of growth and development are also explored. This is a long-term process that requires a holistic approach, not just short-term solutions.
