Abstract
Vozači se tijekom vožnje susreću s brojnim elementima koji odvlače njihovu pozornost, čime se povećava mogućnost prometne nezgode. Na nastanak prometnih nesreća utječu mnogi čimbenici, koji se općenito dijele na čimbenike na strani vozača, vozila i okoline. Proces vožnje zahtijeva stalnu pozornost na cestovne i prometne okolnosti te kontrolu vozila. Vozači možda ne obraćaju dovoljno pažnje na vožnju jer su zaokupljeni drugim stvarima i aktivnostima kao što su telefoniranje, podešavanje i slušanje radija, razgovor sa suvozačem, konzumirane hrane i pića tijekom vožnje. Distrakciju kao pojam možemo podijeliti na fizičku (na način da se osoba koja upravlja vozilom makne jednu ili dvije ruke s upravljača) vizulanu (micanje pogleda s prometnice gledanje u stranu i kognitivnu (opterećenost drugim obvezama nerijetko ne razmišlja o prometu).
Abstract (english)
While driving, drivers encounter numerous elements that distract their attention, which increases the possibility of traffic accidents. The occurrence of traffic accidents is influenced by many factors, which are generally divided into factors on the side of the driver, the vehicle and the environment. The driving process requires constant attention to road and traffic conditions and vehicle control. Drivers may not pay enough attention to driving because they are preoccupied with other things and activities such as talking on the phone, tuning and listening to the radio, talking to a passenger, consuming food and drinks while driving. Distraction as a term can be divided into physical (in such a way that the person driving the vehicle removes one or two hands from the steering wheel), visual (moving his eyes from the road, looking to the side) and cognitive (being burdened with other obligations often does not think about traffic).
