Abstract
Stranac je osoba kojem ne pripada hrvatsko državljanstvo, ali međutim ima državljanstvo države članice EGP-a, Švicarske Konfederacije, državljanstvo treće zemlje ili je osoba bez državljanstva. Državljanin treće zemlje može u Republici Hrvastkoj raditi izričito obavljati poslove za koje mu je izdana dozvola za rad i boravak ili potvrda o prijavi rada. Državljani trećih zemalja u Republici Hrvatskoj mogu boraviti, ako imaju reguliran kratkotrajni boravak, privremeni boravak, dugotrajno boravište ili stalni boravak. Uveden je novi sustav zapošljavanja državljana koji dolaze iz trećih zemalja, gdje će se dozvola za boravak i rad dobiva na temelju mišljenja Hrvatskog zavoda za zapošljavanje.
Abstract (english)
A foreigner is a person who does not have Croatian citizenship, but nevertheless has the citizenship of a member state of the EEA, the Swiss Confederation, the citizenship of a third country, or is a stateless person. A citizen of a third country can work in the Republic of Croatia specifically to perform tasks for which he has been issued a work and residence permit or a work registration certificate. Citizens of third countries can stay in the Republic of Croatia if they have a regulated short-term residence, temporary residence, long-term residence or permanent residence. A new employment system for citizens coming from third countries has been introduced, where residence and work permits will be obtained based on the opinion of the Croatian Employment Service.
