Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada bio je istražiti značaj prerađivačke industrije za gospodarski rast i razvoj Republike Hrvatske. Značaj prerađivačke industrije za gospodarstvo Republike Hrvatske u radu je prikazan kroz niz pokazatelja. Za potrebe analize korišteni su sekundarni podatci preuzeti iz raznih izvješća i baza podataka Državnog zavoda za statistiku, kao i makroekonomski indikatori objavljeni u bazi podataka SmartVision, Osim analize makroekonomskih indikatora, u radu je dan pregled novijih istraživanja vezanih uz predmetnu tematiku.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper was to investigate the importance of the manufacturing industry for the economic growth and development of the Republic of Croatia. The importance of the manufacturing industry for the Croatian economy is presented in the paper through a series of indicators. For the purposes of the analysis, secondary data taken from various reports and databases of the National Bureau of Statistics, as well as macroeconomic indicators published in the SmartVision database, were used. Apart from the analysis of macroeconomic indicators, the paper provides an overview of recent research related to the topic in question.
