AbstractAutomobilska industrija jedna je od najvećih i najvažnijih industrija u svijetu, a automobilske se kompanije ubrajaju među najsnažnije i najveće svjetske kompanije. Kako je ekonomska kriza zavladala cijelim svijetom tako je utjecala i na automobilsku industriju. U radu se analizira prodaja četrdeset i dvije marke automobila s aspekta prije i nakon posljednje svjetske ekonomske i financijske krize, osim toga analizira se prodaja automobila s obzirom na pogonsko gorivo. Cilj ovog rada bio je ispitati utjecaj ekonomske krize na tržište osobnih automobila Republici Hrvatskoj. U radu su analizirani podaci vezani uz broj novoregistriranih automobila po pojedinoj marki, te udio novoregistriranih automobila s obzirom na pogonsko gorivo (dizel ili benzin) unutar pojedine marke. Primjenom korelacijske analize i odgovarajućih neparametarskih statističkih testova (Wilcoxonov test na osnovi ekvivalentnih parova, hi kvadrat test) pokazano je kako ne postoji statistički značajna razlika u ra ngovima automobilskih marki, niti u distribuciji udjela novoregistriranih automobila s obzirom na pogonsko gorivo, prije i poslije prijelomne 2008. godine. Stoga se može zaključiti kako su unatoč krizi, rangovi automobilskih marki na hrvatskom tržištu ostali stabilni, to jest da se preferencije kupaca nisu promijenile unatoč krizi.

Parallel abstract (English)The automotive industry is one of the largest and most important industries in the world. Automotive companies are among the strongest and largest global companies. As the economic crisis gripped the entire world, it also influenced on the automotive industry. This paper analyzes the number of newly registered cars for forty-two manufacturers before and after the recent global economic and financial crisis. Furthermore, the number of newly registered cars was analyzed due to the motor fuel. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of the economic crisis on the car market in Croatia. The paper analyzes data related to the number of newly registered cars by individual manufacturer, and the share of newly registered cars du to the motor fuel (diesel or gasoline) within each manufacturer. By using correlation analysis and corresponding non-parametric statistical tests (Wilcoxon test, chi- square test) it is showed that there is no statistically significant difference in the ranks of car brands, nor in the distribution of shares of newly registered cars in view of the fuel before and after the break year 2008. Therefore, it can be concluded that despite the crisis, ranks automotive brands on the Croatian market remained stable, that is to customer preferences have not changed despite the crisis.
