Abstract
Statistika je grana primijenjene matematike koja se bavi prikupljanjem, uređivanjem, analizom i tumačenjem podataka i donošenjem zaključaka o pojavama i procesima koje ti podaci predočuju. Temelji se na podacima, koji predočuju oblike statističkih varijabli (obilježja) , odnosno oznake (mjere) svojstava i procesa. U širem smislu, analiziraju se podaci o različitim prirodnim, društvenim i drugim pojavama i procesima. U ovom radu definirani su osnovni pojmovi vezane za statističku analizu podataka, dana je deskriptivna analiza podataka vezanih uz prometne nesreća. Tema i predmet ovog završnog rada je analiza broja prometnih nesreća u Republici Hrvatskoj, a jedan od. ciljeva rada je i dati na uvid stanje i sigurnost na cestama u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english)
Statistics is a branch of applied matematics that deals with the collection, editing, analysis and interpretation of data and drawing conclusions about the phenomena and processes that these data represent. In a broader sense, statistics relies on data originating from various phenomena and processesthat represent the forms of statistical variables (characteristics) , labels (measures) of the properties of phenomena and processes. This thesis offers defininitions of basic concepts related to statistical data analysis. Moreover, exploratory analysistraffic accidents is performed. The topic of this thesis is the analysis of the number of traffic accidents in the Republic of Croatia.. Also, one of the goals of this thesis is to provide an insight into the condition and safety of roads in the Republic of Croatia.
