Abstract
Čak 85% prostora Republike Hrvatske, po prostornim, socijalno-demografskim značajkama, pripada ruralnom području, na kojem je prije Domovinskog rata poljoprivredni sektor imao mnogo veći prihodovni značaj nego što to slučaj danas. Danas su brojni faktori utjecali na proces deruralizacije velikog područja Republike Hrvatske kao što je demografska slika ruralnog područja, poslijeratno razdoblje te brži razvitak drugih sektora. Iako Šibenskokninska županija, u odnosu na susjedne županije, posjeduje slabije resurse, načina za njen razvitak ima. Korištenjem financijskih sredstava Europske unije i pridruženjem Lokalnim akcijskim grupama (LAG-ovima), otvaraju se brojne mogućnosti za ravnomjeran razvoj, unaprjeđenje postojećih poljoprivrednih površina i oživljavanje zapuštenih onih zapuštenih u ruralnim područjima.
Abstract (english)
Before the war, for independence 85% of Croatia within spatial, socio-demographic features, belonged to rural areas. That brought much more profit than today. Today, many processes have affected the deruralization of large portions of Croatia and the best example of this being demographic picture of rural areas and advancements in other sectors. Although Sibenik-knin county when compared to other neighboring counties possess less resources, there are other ways to develop them. Local action groups (LAG) and financial resources from European Union open many new possibilities for equal development, advancement of destiny agricultural areas and revival of abandoned rural areas.
