Abstract
U ovom radu opisan je koncept zelenih informacijskih tehnologija i njihove teorijske značajke koje pridonose postizanju ekološki prihvatljivog, „zelenijeg“, poslovanja. Pojam „zelenih informacijskih tehnologija“ ili „Green IT-ja“ se koristi kao opis praksi ekološki održivog računarstva. Neke od njih, koje su opisane u ovom radu, su: računarstvo u oblaku, zeleni podatkovni centri, Internet stvari i zeleni ovratnici. Brz tempo tehnološkog napretka rezultirao je povećanom potražnjom za energijom i sve većim potrebama zbrinjavanja e-otpada. Značajan utjecaj na zelene informacijske tehnologije ima i pravni aspekt unutar kojeg su organizacije obvezne djelovati. Također, spominju se i organizacije koje provode zelenu IT teoriju u djelo i čiji je cilj da svojim radom pridonesu zaštiti okoliša
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the concept of green information technologies and their theoretical features that help achieve environmentally friendly ("greener") business. The term "green information technology" or "Green IT" is used to describe the practice of environmentally sustainable computing. Some of them, which are described in this paper, include: cloud computing, green data centers, the Internet of Things, and green collars. The rapid pace of technological progress has resulted in increased energy demand as well as growing needs in ewaste disposal. The legal aspect under which organizations are obliged to operate has had a significant impact on green information technologies. Also mentioned are the companies that implement green IT theory and whose aim is to contribute to the protection of the environment through their work.
