Abstract
Računalni virus je štetni program koji, prijenosom na korisničko računalo bez administratorova znanja, uzrokuje štetu na razne načine kao na primjer uklanjanje datoteka, tj. podataka; promjena raznih komponenti sistema; otežavanje rada računala; prikazivanje neistinitih poruka i nadogradnja špijunskog softvera (eng. Spyware) koji sakuplja naše osobne podatke, lozinke i sl. Računalni virusi mogu se prenositi s računala na računalo sakrivanjem unutar nekog dokumenta ili aplikacije bez... More znanja korisnika računala. Prilikom prvog pokretanja „zaražene“datoteke, virus se pokreće. Kako bi se korisnik uspješno obranio od virusa potrebno je instalirati antivirusni program koji osim kvalitetne zaštite od virusa uspostavlja obranu i od drugih zlonamjernih prijetnji. Određene besplatne verzije antivirusnih softvera mogu dati adekvatnu zaštitu uz jednostavno i razumljivo korištenje. U okviru ovog završnog rada izvršeno je testiranje pet najpopularnijih besplatnih verzija antivirusnih programa kako bi se provjerila njihova zaštita, a to su TotalAV, Bitdefender, NortonTM 360, BullGuard i McAfee. Abstract (english)
A computer virus is a malicious program that, by transferring to a user's computer without administrative knowledge, causes damage in various ways such as removal of a file, i.e. data; change of various system components; computing the computer; showing false messages and Spyware upgrades which collects our personal data, passwords, etc. Computer viruses can be transmitted from computer to computer by hiding inside a document or application without the knowledge of computer users.... More The first time you run an "infected" file, the virus starts. For the user to successfully defend against viruses, it is necessary to install an antivirus program that, in addition to quality virus protection, also establishes defense against other malicious threats. Certain free versions of antivirus software can provide adequate protection with ease and understandable use. As part of this final paper, the five most popular free versions of antivirus programs were tested to check their protection, and they are TotalAV, Bitdefender, NortonTM 360, BullGuard, and McAfee.
