Abstract
Hrvatski sabor, predstavničko tijelo građana Hrvatske i nositelj zakonodavne vlasti u Republici Hrvatskoj prema Ustavu iz 1990., imao je dvodomnu strukturu: sastojao se od Zastupničkoga doma i Županijskoga doma. Hrvatski sabor danas je jednodomno zakonodavno tijelo (parlament) s najmanje 100, a najviše 160 zastupnika. Zastupnici se biraju na temelju općeg i jednakog biračkog prava na neposrednim izborima tajnim glasanjem, na razdoblje od četiri godine. Ustrojstvo vlasti u RH se dijeli na zakonodavno, izvršno i sudbeno.
Abstract (english)
The Croatian Parliament, the representative body of Croatian citizens and holder of the legislature in the Republic of Croatia under the Constitution of 1990, had a bidome structure: it consisted of the House of Representatives and the County House. Today, the Croatian Parliament is a single-chamber legislative body (parliament) with at least 100 and a maximum of 160 deputies. Members shall be elected on the basis of universal and equal suffrage in direct elections by secret ballot, for a period of four years. The structure of government in the Republic of Croatia is divided into legislative, executive and judicial.
