Abstract
U mnogim službenim dokumentima Republike Hrvatske navodi se da je udomiteljstvo jedan od najboljih oblika skrbi. Roditeljska skrb se može svakom roditelju ograničiti ili oduzeti. U tom slučaju Centar osigurava smještaj djeci i maloljetnicima bez roditelja ili odgovarajuće roditeljske skrbi, onima koje roditelji zanemaruju, djeca i maloljetnici s teškoćama u razvoju, poteškoćama u ponašanju i slično. Put do samog dolaska korisnika u udomiteljsku obitelj je dug i možda može pokolebati potencijalnog udomitelja. Nasuprot tome nevjerojatan je osjećaj da ste nekome pružili obitelj i dom. Svrha ovog rada je prikazati proces udomljenja od samog početka, kada se javlja ideja kod potencijalnog udomitelja za udomiteljstvom , zatim prijave kod nadležnog Centra, ispunjavanje određenih uvjeta te dobivanje dozvole za udomiteljstvo do osposobljavanja udomitelja i smještaja korisnika u udomiteljsku obitelj te naposljetku i podrška nakon završene skrbi. U zadnjem dijelu ćemo se osvrnuti i na neke primjere iz stvarnog života, pozitivne ali i negativne.
Abstract (english)
Many offical documents of the Republic of Croatia says that foster care is one of the best forms of care. Parental care can be restricted or taken away from each parent. In this case, the Center provides accommodation for children and minors without parents or appropriate parental care, those who are neglected by their parents, children and minors with developmental difficulties, behavioral difficutlies ect.The road to cooming into a foster family is a long and may sway a potential foster parents. On the other side, it is an amazing feeling that you are giving someone a family and a home. The purpose of this work is to show the process of foster care for begginning, when the idea arises with a potential foster parent for a foster care, then apply to the competent Center, meet certain conditions and obtain a foster care permit to train foster parents and place them in foster care. In the last part we will look at some real-life examples, both one, positive and negative.
